About

Hello there. I’m a technical copywriter and blogger with a background in Frontend/UX development. I help businesses and creative professionals write conversational, human-centered content that’s accessible and looks great on multiple devices.

MY BACKGROUND

Like many others, my career path has been more complex. I was once the sole paralegal for a personal injury law firm for five years. I stumbled into coding years ago when I started a self-hosted WordPress blog, and I’ve been intrigued by the different technologies that make the web work ever since. This blog is where I share my journey of learning and curving out a living at the intersection of tech, writing, and art.

I’m always curious and love to learn. I take a proactive learning approach to acquiring and improving my writing and technical skills.

My knowledge and specialization

  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Writing semantic HTML5
  • WordPress/PHP development
  • React Development
  • Copywriting
  • Content Marketing and Blogging

Furthermore, I’m a member of the American Writers and Artists Institute (AWAI) and The Professional Writers’ Alliance.

In 2018, I was fortunate to participate in the Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship and pursue an opportunity as a student in Udacity’s Front-end Developer Nanodegree program. I focused on improving my understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript object-oriented concepts.

What I enjoy most about Frontend/UX Design and writing, is problem-solving, learning how things work, and using that knowledge to help people optimize their digital platforms and build community.

Want to collaborate?

Wonderful! Let’s connect. I’m always interested in opportunities to work with creative, forward-thinking teams and professional individuals who stand behind their values and mission. Let’s discuss how I can help you take the next step in your project goals.
