Hey Cyn Writes

Smart systems. Strategic storytelling.

About

Hi, I’m Cynthia Wright (Cyn) — a workflow strategist, content creator, and systems builder for creative service providers who want to simplify their client experience and reclaim their time.

“Hi, I’m Cyn — systems thinker, content builder, and metaphor enthusiast.”

When I first started Hey Cyn Writes, I noticed a common struggle among small business owners: they were pouring their energy into serving clients but losing hours to clunky systems, scattered content, and disorganized workflows. Their passion was clear — but their backend wasn’t keeping up.

That’s where I come in. With a background in front-end development and copywriting, I blend technical know-how with storytelling to design branded digital ecosystems that feel aligned and effortless. Whether I’m setting up Dubsado automations, building Notion dashboards, or writing email sequences, my goal is the same: to help you show up with confidence and systems that work for you.

I believe thoughtful systems and clear communication are the foundation of a sustainable business. My approach combines structure and storytelling — because your workflows should be as intentional as your words.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

When we work together, you’ll get a mix of strategy, structure, and creativity:

  • Smart Systems: streamlined Dubsado or Notion setups that take work off your plate.
  • Conversion-Focused Content: email sequences and blog posts that sound like you, only sharper.
  • Consistent Strategy: workflows and content plans that grow with your business.

I work with solopreneurs, coaches, and service-based business owners who are ready to trade chaos for confidence — and build a brand experience that actually supports them.

If your business workflow is working your last nerve — let’s fix that.

A Bit More About Me

Like many others, my career path has been anything but linear. I spent five years as the sole paralegal for a personal injury law firm before stumbling into coding through a self-hosted blog. That curiosity led me to complete Udacity’s Front-End Developer Nanodegree and eventually merge my love of systems, writing, and design into what I do today.

I’m a member of the American Writers & Artists Institute (AWAI) and The Professional Writers’ Alliance, and I approach growth with intention, curiosity, and a deep belief that creativity thrives in structure.

Fun Facts

  • I love planning trips with color-coded itineraries and visual budgets.
  • I blog about my business journey to help other creatives and solopreneurs grow with intention.
  • I write and draw a gag-a-day style webcomic called Bad Lasagna.
  • I love spreadsheets and metaphors.

I help creatives and coaches simplify their workflows and tell their stories with confidence — all powered by smart systems and strategic storytelling.

Your content should work as hard as you do. Let’s make that happen.
