About

Hello there. I’m a technical copywriter and blogger with a background in computer science and Front-end web development. I help businesses and creative professionals write conversational, human-centered content that’s accessible and looks great on multiple devices.

MY BACKGROUND

Like many others, my career path has been more complex. I was once the sole paralegal for a personal injury law firm for five years. I stumbled into coding years ago when I started a self-hosted WordPress blog, and I’ve been intrigued by the different technologies that make the web work ever since.

I’m always curious and love to learn. I take a proactive learning approach to acquiring and improving my writing and technical skills.

This blog is where I write about some of my favorite topics.

My knowledge and specialization

  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Writing semantic HTML5
  • WordPress/PHP development
  • React Development
  • Copywriting
  • Content Marketing and Blogging

Furthermore, I’m a member of the American Writers and Artists Institute (AWAI) and The Professional Writers’ Alliance.

In 2018, I was fortunate to participate in the Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship and pursue an opportunity as a student in Udacity’s Front-end Developer Nanodegree program. I focused on improving my understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript object-oriented concepts.

What I enjoy most about technology and writing, in general, is problem-solving, learning how things work, and using that knowledge to help people optimize their digital platforms and build community.

Do you want to collaborate on a project? Wonderful! I’m always interested in opportunities to work with creative, forward-thinking teams and professional individuals who stand behind their values and mission. Let’s discuss how I can help you take the next step in your project goals.
